BADFEM is GSA's women's society and collective, aimed at establishing a support network for women at GSA, as well as hosting film nights, crits, reading groups, club nights and exhibitions.
We aim to provide a safe space for women at GSA, aiding each other creatively through crits that span all disciplines, creating connections across the university.
We also want to champion work by women through film nights and reading groups - where we can get together and examine key pieces of feminist work as a group, expanding our reference points for what 'feminism' means in art, together.
In the same vein, we want to showcase work from within GSA, hosting open call exhibitions for students whose work deals with feminism, liberation, and womanhood in any form.
We are more than open to suggestions for events etc. so get in contact via instagram (@badfem.gsa) or email (badfem3@gmail.com) with anything you want to see from us!
