This workshop will be led by Jules Dunn and will focus on exploring the relationship we have to languages and the limitations of the term ‘translation’. These themes will be looked at through a lens of queer language theory and will involve a series of collaborative exercises and discussions where the group will aim to produce writings/translations across multiple languages and mediums. This is an explorative and informal event, with the primary aim of facilitating thought and conversation around [the queering of] languages and engaging in playful interaction with text.
Knowledge of languages besides English will be received with enthusiasm but is not required!
