Sabbatical Elections

Yes, you read that right – Elections!!

Any student can run for either the role of President or Vice President of the Glasgow School of Art Students' Association. This means you would become the lead representative for all students on campus and champion your voices, the student voice.

The nominations period will open on 11th February. The campaigning period will begin 11th March.  You could run to be the President or the Vice President – both are full time positions with a salary of £26,130.00

You can find some more information about what the roles entail here

If you are interested we would really encourage you to come and speak to our current Sabb team. Their office is located on the ground floor of the Assembly building - can come by and say hi!

Whole Student Representative Council (SRC) Meeting

We’ll be holding a full Student Representative Council meeting on 28th January, 5:30-6:30pm in the Vic Bar to discuss a change in the Sabbatical roles and what the future of student representation will look like. We’ll have a little Sabb question time where you can ask the Officers anything, and talk about elections and looking to the future.

We hope to see you at this meeting on the 28th because we want to hear your voice. We’ve been talking a lot internally, but the voices of the students are those that really matter, so please, come to the Vic and make that voice heard.
