Resources for Sports Clubs
This complements resources found on the main societies resource hub page found HERE and are specific to Sports Clubs and Sports activities as undertaken by societies.
All recognised members of GSA Students' Association Sports Societies are covered by Personal Accident Cover when undertaking sporting activities as a society. All members covered by this policy should read the Policy and Schedules in the documents below. Cover extends only to members of the society, and to activities undertaken which are known to and approved by the Association and which have been properly risk assessed.

Joining UofG Sport
In addition to any Sports Clubs we offer at the Students' Association, GSA students also have access to a lot of the same facilities and resources that University of Glasgow students do (except for competing in BUCS/SSS competitions) and can purchase:
To join UofG Sport, GSA students must use their University of Glasgow email address (@student.gla.ac.uk) and password to log in through the login page.
All GSA students have this address, but if for whatever reason you don't know or can't access it, University of Glasgow's reception team at the Stevenson Building will be able to help. You can find it at 77 Oakfield Avenue, Glasgow G12 8LT.
Joining a GUSA Sports Club
We have a few different Sports Clubs on offer here at the GSA Students' Association, which you can find at on our Societies web page. However, if you can't find the Club you're looking for, Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) may have the one for you.
To join a GUSA club, GSA students will need:
Once they have these, they can log in to the GUSA website via Student Login, complete the GUSA Welcome Survey and then buy any club membership.
Again, the Stevenson Building can help you get set up if you don't know your UofG email address and password.
Important info regarding BUCS/SSS competitions
After joining a GUSA Sports Club, GSA students can attend all of their club's training sessions and social events.
However, if they wish to represent the club in British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) or Scottish Student Sport (SSS) competitions, they must be enrolled in one of the following joint UofG/GSA degree programmes:
